Nathan Cravatt was born into a Christian home and was raised as a pastor’s / missionary’s kid. His life was radically changed by the Gospel when he was 25 and he immediately felt the call to preach. He began his ministry preaching in prisons and jails. He co-founded Young America Ministries which served and shared the gospel with at-risk kids living in trailer parks and the projects of North Georgia and Tennessee. He served as a youth pastor for 16 years until God led his family to plant a church in 2016. He pastored Hope Church Trenton for 4-1/2 years where they saw God grow a healthy church that made disciples and impacted the community. He is the co-host of the Recovering Fundamentalist Podcast along with 2 of his best friends, JC Groves and Brian Edwards. The Cravatt family recently moved from Gospel Light Church in Anderson, SC where Nathan served as the Associate &  NextGen Pastor. Nathan has been married to Carrie for over 26 years and they have 4 children: Austin, Layni, Elise, and Mia.
